Another fabulous show at Bath’s Pavilion. I felt privileged that one of my paintings ‘Obsession - Moon and Moths’ was used for Show ads and banners around town (such fun spotting them!) A wonderful weekend all round.
Fun Saturdays with adults wanting to improve their watercolour knowledge and skills to produce their own winter-themed robins. I’ll be teaching new classes in 2025, email me for info.
Sometimes it’s good to give something back - to nature and to the next generation of nature lovers. A school in N Somerset got to build a Bug Hotel with me. We’re hoping lots of residents will move in for the children to spot.
It’s always exciting to see a group of artists at the top of their game. I joined the prestigious TWASI - The Wildlife Art Society International this year and showed at their summer show at the gorgeous Nature in Art Museum & Art Gallery marquee.
A collaboration of 7 artists, working in glass, ceramics, paper and paint - we all love to depict birds and winged insects. This is the first time we’ve shown together - Prior Shop Gallery, Bristol’s Cabot Circus.
Such a joy to see all my current paintings all together at the wonderful Bath Pavillion show space. Hundreds of visitors stopped by for interesting conversations about favourite birds and bugs and connections and purchases were made.
I’m excited to be part of this long standing prestigious trail of over 200 artists. I’ll be turning the bottom floor of my home into a pop-up gallery and also showing my (rather large!) collection of natural history objects with the art.
I had the fun and privilege of passing on some skills recently to a fab bunch of kids. We covered the fundamentals of drawing natural objects, tried our hand at water-colour painting and made bee and flower pendants.
